Squad Sessions
Session Times: Friday Evening 8:30pm to 10pm Sunday Evening 6:30pm to 9pm
The Squad Sessions run twice a week, and are designed to provide those members progressing from the Club Sessions with a regular and reliable group of training partners. Although it is not a requirement to compete, those attending the Squad sessions are typically already competing or are preparing for their first competition. Members must have developed their core strength and have established their Powerlifting technique before progressing onto the Squad level. Unlike Club sessions, Squad members are expected to make a commitment to attending the sessions to enable their training to take more structure in the build up to competitions. Sessions should only be missed in exceptional circumstances to ensure consistent training for the entire Squad. These sessions are a great transition from the Club sessions into a more serious training environment, and are attended by intermediate to advanced lifters. These sessions are ideal for:
