Great Britain Senior Team Selection
The Great Britain Powerlifting Federation have announced the initial
selections for the Great Britain Senior ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
Team for the World Powerlifting Championships, in New Delhi, India,
1st-7th November. The Club ispleased to confirm that Ben Banks has been
selected for the 125kg class. Ben will join the Men's team consisting of
Phillip Richard (reigning 67.5kg European champion), Rob Palmer
(82.5kg), Joe Bullock (90kg), Jaswinder Singh (90kg), Mark Gregory
(100kg), Dean Bowring (125kg+) and Andy Thompson (125kg+). They will be
joined by the Women's team of Nicola Payne (60kg), Jordana Freemantle
(67.5kg), Valerie Ritchie (75kg) and Charlotte Shotton-Gale (82.5kg).
Both teams will be accompanied by the Team Coaches, Arun Singh and Tony
Stevens, and Team Manager, Ralph Farquharson.
