Great Britain Team Selection

Following the Senior Squad in Birmingham in March, the Great Britain team for the European Championships has been announced. Ben Banks will be representing the Club in the 125kg class, with two other Greater London lifters competing in lighter weight classes. The full team consists of Rodney Hypolite, Phil Richard, Rob Palmer, Phil Watkins, Ben Banks and Dean Bowring, with Tony Stevens as Team Coach and Ralph Farquharson as Team Manager. 

The Team will fly out to Ylitorio, Finland, on Monday 4th May, with Ben competing on Saturday 9th May. The entrants list has now been finalised with 131 competitors, and can be seen on the European Powerlifting Federation website.
