Great Britain Junior Powerlifting Team

European Junior Powerlifting Championships 2007

We are please to confirm that both Ben Banks and Andy Ly have been selected to represent Great Britain at the European Junior Powerlifting Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria. The team fly out on Monday 11th June, with Andy Ly competing in the 90kg class on Thursday 14th June, and Ben Banks competing in the 110kg class on Friday 15th June.

The full team is James White (75kg), Justin Martin (82.5kg), Mark Gregory (90kg), Andy Ly (90kg), Ben Banks (110kg), Paul Whatson (110kg) and Kyle White (125kg). They are being accompanied by John Halfacre as Team Manager, John Telfer as Team Coach and Harry Turner an IPF1 Referee. We wish all of them the best of luck for the competition!
