Nutrition Adviser Rebecca Yeoh Rebecca has a double degree in Health Science (Nutrition & Dietetics) and Applied Science (Human Movement Studies). She is registered with the Health Professions Council as a Dietitian (HPC Reg. No. DT15616) and is on hand to offer expert nutritional advice to ensure that members get the most from their training.
Medical Adviser Ryan Wood Ryan studied Medicine at Oxford for Six years, and has now been practicing for several years (GMC Ref. No. 6128154). He has trained and competed in Powerlifting and is a great asset to the Club. While it is not the Club's intention for Ryan to replace your regular GP, he is an excellent source for additional advice and explanation, particularly concerning the impact a condition should have on your training.
Powerlifting Adviser John Halfacre John has experience of all aspects of powerlifting. John has organised many Divisional and National competitions, he has refereed countless competitions through to International level, and both managed and coached international teams, in particular the Juniors. In addition, he represented Great Britain in the sport, including becoming European Masters Two Champion in 1997. John will be able to assist both members and the Committee in all aspects of the sport.
Equipment Adviser Roy Banks Roy has spent over 20 years in precision metalwork, holding City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, Toolmaking and Machining. He is able to assist the Club in selecting equipment that is suitable for the Club. In addition, he is proving invaluable at assisting the Committee in designing and manufacturing customised equipment to meet the Club's needs.
